        OH WHEE  WE LOVE GLEE  But even more than that, ve love the humiliation that occurs on Blue Monday. So to ensure that everybody can witness our agonizing defeats, ve devised the official Glee bet record book. The book is titled  quot;The Original Blue Book quot; (a clever spoof on the academic test booklets). The week of Glee vas, veil to say the least, interesting. The seniors sent out word, by vay of the WILLAMETTE RUMOR MILL, that the junior class vas undoubtedly going to lose Glee. The juniors, retaliating for this, lashed back at the seniors, by filing an official complaint after a  quot;malicious attack quot; by the seniors during a raid. This resulted in a whopping 2 point penalty against the senior class (like it really made a difference ) The sophomores strutted around all veek, SIPPING LAPPUCINO, confident of their ensuing victory on Saturday night. The freshmen, the only obvious possibility that the juniors might not get last place, increased in numbers from 80 to 160 by Wednesday. The freshmen quietly prepared for Saturday with a certain amount of innocence and eagerness. When Saturday night rolled around, it seemed to be determined that first and second place would be between the seniors and sophomores, and third and fourth place vould be battled out between the juniors and freshmen. The  quot;fine looking quot; judges surprised us all. Cameras definitely should have been focused on the seniors when the class of 1991 vas declared the winner of Glee 1988. Was this a miscarriage of justice? Had Buzz read the results right? The freshmen took first, the veil-performed juniors placed second and the sophomores took a surprising third. Unbelievably, the class of 1988 lost Glee for the second year in a row. Well, hold your heads up high seniors, because you just did it for the fun and friendship of it. Right?  Congratulations freshmen--you taught us all hov to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT     
        SOPHOMORES/JUNIORS Atkinson, Deirdre/Tewfik, Mike Loser has to sing  quot;You never close your eyes... quot; from  quot;Top Gun quot; at the Bistro to the winner at 9pm. Baker, Kim  amp; Rolse, Missy/Marshall Greg Will have a dozen eggs thrown by anyone at anytime. Brown, Berk/Adams, Jeff Loser must read a Penthouse  quot;Forum quot; letter at Baxter dinner. Brown, Berk/Marshall. Greg Must dribble a basketball all day. Brown, Berk/McBeth, Tim Must stand in Jackson Plaza for ten minutes and announce the time every fifteen seconds. Buries, Cathy /Adams, Jeff Cathy must go into Jeff  x27;s 10:00 class, made a whip cream pie and put it in Barry Melin  x27;s face. King, Camden/ Ballantyne, Mike The loser has to go the the Pi Phi house and do a table strip-tease. Little, Rob/Adams, Jeff Brian Miller, Jay Adams, and Rob Little are doing Pavlov  x27;s dog experiment. Brian is the experimenter, Jeff; the assistant and Rob is the dog. Ulappa, Ken/McLane, Nancy At dinner the loser will go over the winner  x27;s dining hall and do a strip-tease on a table. Watt. Marie/Adams. Jeff The winner gets a backrub, tucked in bed and read a bedtime story. 
        SOPHOMORES/SENIORS King, Camden/Roy, Trina Loser has to do a strip-tease down to their bathing suit in the other  x27;s dining hall. Pavlicek, Tracy/Meagles, Denise Denise must serve winner a bottle of champagne in Comparative Economics, and pledge allegiance to the Sophomore class. Ulappa, Ken/Cathy, Julie If Julie wins then Ken will be the troll under the bridge. If Ken wins then Julie will be his cocktail waitress. Ulappa, Ken/Shaw, Bill Universal agreement: the winner must take 3 St. Paul Oirl beers into his 10:10. Ulappa, Ken/ Klein, Teri If Teri wins Ken will go into her 9:00 Art History class and cut down material in class. If Ken wins Teri has to go into Ken  x27;s 7:00 PM Figure drawing class and act like a Christian Fundamentalist mother against pornography. Ulappa, Ken/Bloom, Jeanette If Jeanette wins Ken will have to make lunch and serve him candlelight beer with crackers in Ken  x27;s 7pm class. Yancil, Ryan/Holden, Tomi The loser will serve the other an imported beer in his/her 10:10. 
        JUNIORS/SENIORS Adams, Jeff/Gress Jim Loser must lip Sync as a member of Rush at Beta dinner. Blatt, John/Over beck, Marc Loser gives professor of the winners choice a beer in class and reads from selected irrelevent material at length. Bloom, Daye/Ferrell, Patty  amp; Saunders, Molly Loser must kiss all members of the winner  x27;s sorority/fraternity wearing a specified color at dinner. Gallawa, Toby/Holden, Tomi If seniors don  x27;t win, the two will split a six-pack in Toby  x27;s 8:00 AM class. Holden, Tomi/Tonole, Jeff Loser must sing  quot;Do, Re, Mi quot; from  quot;The Sound of Music quot; every 15 minutes and drink each time the word  quot;drink quot; comes up in the song. Motturi, Andrea/Holden, Tomi Loser will explain the various types of contraception to the Men of Sigma Chi at dinner. Nebert, Dietrich/Hall, Valerie Loser must wear sign offering free kisses, starting with number of people kissed in the past and continuing tally. Ogden, Damon/Parkel, Ross Loser must have a radical loss of hair. RICE, EVAN B./FISHMAN, ERIC M. LOSER MUST HAVE HIS HEAD SHAVED BY THE WINNER.

Boyle, Jim/Hudak, Carol If Jim loses he will drink a bottle of champagne before each meal; If  quot;Hude quot; loses she will drink 3 beers a class and wear Jim  x27;s hiking boots. Boyle, Jim/ Willaims, Suzi Loser will go to winner  x27;s house (Sigma Chi or Delta Gamma) at lunch and stand on the table and sing  quot;Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head. quot; Chun, Mlchelle/Yamamoto, Yuklo The loser must do the hula on the dining hall table and sing a Japanese song at the same time.         Durbin, Scott/King, Camden Camden must beg for pennies, nlckles, and dimes from every professor he is now taking classes from. Durbin, Scott/Sato, Shfnlchl Shinichi must sing a Japanese song and during its duration will have rotten fruit thrown at him. Durbin, Scott/ Enger, Todd Every ten minutes of each class loser must exclaim  quot;oo-oo-ooh  quot; three times, followed by  quot;Sorry, I forgot. quot; Field, Todd/Cray, Amy Loser provides white table cloth and a red rose and gets the food for the winner at each meal. George, David/Mari Loser must stand under Jackson Plaza Clock Tower with an orange shower cap and play the National Anthem on a kazoo. James, Dan/Pool, Chad Loser has to smoke a cigar in the quad while having a can of pork and beans dumped on his head. James, Dan/Rice, Dan Loser must bleach his hair blonde. Lysoby, Mike/Borak, Todd Everywhere the winner walks the loser must walk in front of them and sweep their path. Mercer, Karen/Bosshardt, Tony Loser must wear a T-shirt; screams that the winner is a god(dess), and that they worship him/her, whenever designated throughout the day and in the loser  x27;s dining hall. Miller, Dale/Campbell, Kate At 5:00 PM, loser must imitate in a shooting gallery, while being shot at with water pistols in front of Sigma Chi. 
        Miller, Dale/King, Camden Loser must act like a dog, (bark, play with fire hydrants, crawl, etc) while I hold him on a leash and sell eggs for people to throw at him. Nutt, Stephanie/Huntsman, Caryn Loser dances to Madonna  x27;s  quot;Like a Virgin quot; on the dining room table at Delta Tau Delta during lunch. Pepin, Craig and Young, Kelly/Biviano, Jon Loser(s) must throw marshmallows at all of their professors. Winkler, Leanne/Kenny, Holly Loser has to walk around campus from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on crutches and claim to have broken her foot. 
        FRESHMEN/JUNIORS Boyle, James S./Pay, Carson Thomas The loser will complete a beer marathon (12 beers in 30 minutes) while furnishing his own beer. Boyle, James 5./5mith, Erin Winner gets to choose the loser  x27;s wardrobe for the day. Chun, Michelle/Yamanaka, Michi Loser must kiss and hug all the TIU males. Cromwell, Cassandra/Takahashi, Kazuko If Kazuko loses she has to sing the Japanese national anthem under the Clock Tower at lunch and on a table at Doney at dinner. If Cassandra loses she has to do the same with the American national anthem. Dawson, Holly/Marshall, Greg Loser must be human spaghetti. Foley, Chris/Adams, Jeff Loser must stand at the upper bridge of the U.C. and be a troll, refusing to let all pass, and spraying them with water if should try. Foley, Chris/Marshall, Greg Loser must sweep the sidewalk in front of the winner and the winner  x27;s slave for one class. Norton, John and Moss, J.P./Tewfik. Mike Member(s) of losing team must table-dance down to a woman  x27;s bikini at all three sororities at dinner. Hughes, Clint/Marshall, Greg Loser must shave his arm pits. 
        Huycko, Mike/Marshall, Greg Loser must be a troll on the lower U.C. bridge, barring all from crossing and throwing water on those that do. James, Dan/Ogden, Damen Loser must bleach his hair blond. Luft, Carol/Zinn, John John will dress as Pan (the god of pasture) and carry a stuffed goat around all day. Carol will have to dress like Patty Smyth of  quot;Scandal quot; and look like a warrior, lip syncing to  quot;I am a Warrior quot; in the Bistro when it is busy. Lysoby, Mike/ Tonole, Jeff  amp; Nishigaya, Nori Loser(s) must float down the Mill Stream on a raft. Lysoby, Mike/Nishigaya, Nori Loser must get a crew-cut. Mercer, Karen/Pattison, Brian Winner tucks in the loser with a teddy bear, song, story, hot chocolate, and a hug. Meyer, Karla  amp; Salisbury, Lisa/Marshall, Greg Loser must dramatically read poems written by winner(s) in the 9:00 class. Miller, Brian/Marshall, Greg Loser must shave half of his facial hair while standing in the Mill Stream and the leave the other half on for 24 hours. Miller, Dale/Pay, Carson Carson has to march on all the desks in my philosophy class while singing his class song. Nickerson, Tever/Takahasi, Kazu In Jackson Plaza the loser must do a duck walk while repeating  quot;I want to be a duck  quot; for 15 minutes. Nutt, Stephanie/Gardner, Melissa Loser gets honey poured over her body while singing  quot;Pour Some Sugar on Me quot;, by  quot;Def Lepp8rd quot;. 
        FRESHMEN/SENIORS Boyle, Jim/Holden, Tomi Loser will drag around tin cans tied to their ankles all day long. Budhiraja, Angali/Aitchison, Brad If Brad wins, Angali must serve him drinks in tennis practice and chase balls; if Angali wins, Brad has to dress in a tennis skirt for class. Cisneros, Tony/Holden, Tomi Loser must wear a sign labeled /  x27;Kisses-  .10, no offers refused quot;, and must earn at least  3.00, which the winner will get. Cromwell, Cassandra/Hunter, Whitney Loser has to wear a swimsuit and flash anyone who acknowledges them. Durbin, Scott K./Overbeck, Marc A. Loser shines winner  x27;s shoes in Jackson Plaza and serves champagne. Durbin, Scott K./Overbeck, Marc A. Loser consumes seven raw eggs during lunch. Durbin, Scott K./Mukoyama, Toshio Toshio will read the newspaper in Jackson Plaza while dressed in a coat, dress shoes, and underwear. He can not leave until he fishes the whole paper. Eckert, Randy/Hunter, Whitney Loser must shave one inch of hair above both ears. Gates, Kri3/Dianich, Kim Loser has to wear underwear outside of clothes. Nothing can cover them up. 
        James, Dan/Hart, John Loser must bleach his hair blonde. Lacosta, Tony/Overbeck, Marc Loser must bring Professor Hawkinson breakfast from Brice  x27;s after reading the menu aloud to the class. I aft, Carol/Mukoyomo, Toshio Toshio will dress like Whitney Houston and lip sync to a song in Jackson Plaza. Lysoby, Mike/ Gress, Jim Loser must wear clothes backwards, walk backwards, and sit in chair backwards to and from all classes. Mc Grath, Aaron/Overbeck, Marc Loser must stand and read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution at 8:20 AM in Professor Hawkinson  x27;s American Politics class. Mercer, Karen/Bosselman, Kurt Laser must be winner  x27;s slave for a day. Mercer, Karen/Dierks, Krista Loser, tied up to Clock Tower, chugs three beers and claims the winner is the  quot;hottest babe at the Willamette campus. quot; Michael, Scott/Holdenjomi Loser must wear a sign labeled, quot;Kisses- . 10, no offers refused quot;, and must earn at least  3.00, which the winner will get.
