Dr. Taizo Kaneko founded ICC in 1965 and thus fulfilled his long-cherised vision of establishing a unique institution of higher learning emphasizing international educazion. Today the supervision of the school is in the hands of his son, Dr. Yasuo Kaneko. Dr. Taizo Kaneko The students and faculty of Willamette University are indebted to the Kaneko family and to ICC for enabling us to expand our horizons beyond the provincial atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest. We are delighted that Dr. Kaneko had the foresight to initiate a sister-college relationship and are especially pleased that he selected Willamette University. This relationship has flourished to the betterment of both institutions. An integral part of this relationship is the student exchange program and this evening our honored guests are members of the ICC student body. The name of our sister institution will be changed to Tokyo International University (Tokyo Kokusai Daigaku) effective April 1, 1986. Judges and Judging Lyrics/Composition: Dr. Melvin Geist, Mr. K.
