I think the two affidavits should be sufficient to remove all objection to this payment and as I think every thing else is satisfactorily Settled, I trust you may soon have the pleasure of knowing that you are out of the wilderness I believe I wrote you that we were now in the boarding house, my wife as Matron She does first-rate, and stands it better than I expected. Last Saturday amp; Sunday was the time appointed for our Quarterly Meeting but Bro Roe was sick and could not come, so it is postponed till the 28th amp; 29th of this month Geo Waters said he had a letter from you stating that you would be here last Sunday we have therefore looked for you. George did not tell me so but it was reported as coming from him. My wife joins me in Cordial love to Sister Wilbur and yourself I have heard that you were not as well as you had been. We are trying to do some good. May the Lord help us I think the General has learned much since he came. He has put a stop to Gambling amp; horseracing that is as far as orders can do so Our School now numbers about 130 pupils.
