The Subsistance thus furnished was over and above any, and all appropriations made by the Department for their Support The Beef and Flour was the Property of the Yakama Nation of Indians who have all been layed Since the Treaty made 1855 This was the fruit of their industry and Could not in justice be taken from them to Support the  disloyal
