Upton 2d Comptroller  Sir,   I have the honor to acknowledge the Recpt of yoru Official Letter of March 3d informing me that my Cash and property accounts as agent to Sept 30th 1882 bond of Feb. 14th 1881 have been finally settled, leaving a balance of Ten 90/100 Dollars leaving due the United States, which amount in a Post Office Order please find Enclosed.  Please do me the favor to draw Said amount and have it Credited So as to Cancel the Books    When Received and Canceled, please do me the favor to acknowledge the Same.
