dc.description.abstract(6 Willamette Sports L.J. 29 (2009)). This article considers legal issues involved in achieving gender equity in compensation of college coaches. It surveys the law governing pay equity, including the seminal case of Stanley v. USC and more recent cases. It further provides guidance for administrators in identifying and addressing pay equity issues. The article considers the Federal Equal Pay Act of 1963, and its state law equivalents; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and its state law equivalents; and Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments.en_US
