FIGHT FOR THEIR HOPE AND FAITH by Lila Anne Brown, ClAss of1992 We are all forced in the morning to rise and shine, and the lack of motivation blinds our eyes. They say that in this wide world there's so much to live for But I guess as I'm getting older I don't see it anymore. All the dreams that we made as children have faded away. All the goals and expectations were saved for other days. So now we look to the children to fulfill our dreams When we know that the "great" world ain't what it seems (No it ain't what it seems). But we have the hope that the fight will remain and we have the hope that our dreams will sustain for all those who came before us they still implore us to retain their hope and faith Yes we must fight for their hope and faith. All the trials and tribulations ofourtimeshelp us to fight theself-limitations in our lives And we should all stand with each other strong and tall so that we can meet the challenge ofhope for all (Yes we can have hope for all). And we have the hope that the fight will remain yes we have the hope that our dreams will sustain for all who came before us they still implore us to retain their hope and faith yes we must fight for their hope and keep the hope and faith keep the hope and faith keep the hope and faith And we have the hope that the fight will remain yes we have the hope that our dreams will sustain for all those who came before us they still implore us to retain their hope and faith Yes we must fight for their hope and faith (Amen) FRINDS IN ARMS ~ by.AAron AnJre Miller. We:wrotcdown our dreams and capped them in a botde and thn:w it out to SCll. We hear the cry (hear the cry). So can't we: try (can't we try) to keep this dream alive? So when the waves leave the shore we: do hope and pray you'll find Ollr SOS (SOS), in the sand (in the sand). Open it and realize our words an: true, what's done is done. So shine hope's light across the SCll. Together we hold the key. Through history Willamette has led the way, but a new challenge brings us here today. We must start a revolution to mend what's wrong The time fOr change is with us, let the world hear our song.
