Below are a few things Jean and I leaned about Glee decorations. We'll pas'] the informaticu along in hopes you'll profit fror.1 it. 1. We WCUl~l just like to warn you not to count on your committe memkbers. Althot~h r~me 35 girls signed up and confirmed their intentions to help out)when the time for acti~g~5~iy eight of the girlsJincluding Jean and r.1yself, showed up. 2. Be sure the fire marshal approves all your decorations as not fire hazards. He can give you tips on how '0 fire proof your decorations and is more than willin8 to give you names of people and :stores you can contact for further informat~on and the needed materials. One way you C 8'1 avoid all this work is to use fire-proof materials when ever T'ossible. Such items as fire-proof crep paper, spray paint, and construction paper are readily obtained at num(,rous stat:L::mary and hJbby shops throughout Saler.1. 3. Try to have all the decol'ations rE'ady to go by G.t le 'st the Sunday preceedinc Glee. You'll find Glee week is much too hectic to find capable workers and last minute problems do pop up! Well , despite the foreboding comments I've made may I add that it is ratlwr fun anJ you will feel you've contributed at lea~t a little to the class effort! Wishing you the best of luck, Ann Lebsack Jeanne Lockwood ~e<L Tl"N I is ~~u..-I II h euit... forGtr r I '\ ... i .~ -.:.~--tL-
