Abstract

(3 Willamette Sports L.J. 27 (2006)). This article argues that universities have a fiduciary duty to student-athletes, and must admit only those students who want a college education and have the ability to earn one. The article discusses whether to treat the relationship as that of a university and student, or employer and employee. It then addresses potential breaches of any such fiduciary relationship.
