William Roberts  but J.H. Wilbur in the Spring, or Summer of 1851    2,000 to build Portland Academy  amp; Female  Seminary.  Harley McDonell  Came to Portland In August 1850. Is a Builder    Sometime in the fall of 1850  Mipss  Coffin and Lonsdale went out to show him McDonell Blocks and Lots that had been donated for different purposed. One Block between Jefferson and Columbia  amp; between 5th and 6th  St. in front of W.S. Ladd   s residence which was donated to build the Congressional Church. At the Same time Said Proprietors Showed McDonell Block No 205 in the rear of W.S. Ladd   s residence  
        between Jefferson  amp; Columbia St.  amp;  between 7th and Park St.   s as the Block on which a Femal Seminary was to be built and the Block 224 directly in the rear, and between Jefferson and Columbia Sts. and between Park and 8th Sts as a Block Donated to build an Academy with   and then down to the Blocks marked on Bradies map as designated in the Same manner For a male Seminary   For Masens Odd Fellows Sisters of Charity-- amp;exc
