Diaz Gomez, Lizzet2026-05-042026-05-042026-04-14https://hdl.handle.net/10177/41426Two Worlds is a Mexican-American streetwear brand designed to fill a gap that has long been overlooked — a space for those who are proud of their heritage but don't identify with the existing representations of Mexican-American fashion. Created by Lizzet Diaz, a first-generation Mexican-American graphic designer raised in the Bay Area, the brand challenges the idea that cultural pride must look a certain way. Rather than pulling from Chicano aesthetics or ranchera-inspired looks, Two Worlds takes traditional Mexican motifs — rebozo patterns, charro detailing, quinceañera-inspired elements — and recontextualizes them within the visual language of modern streetwear and athleisure. The project includes a full brand identity system, clothing and accessory designs, produced garments, and professional product photography. Visually, the brand sits at the intersection of Nike, Adidas, and Stüssy — filtered through a lens of cultural authenticity and personal story. Two Worlds is built on a simple belief: cultural identity is not a costume, and pride does not require conformity. This brand is for the Mexican Americans who have always existed between two worlds — and never needed to choose just one.Garments, Paper, Adobe SuitesTwo Worlds, Mexican, American, Fashion, StreetwearLizzet Diaz Gomez 2026
