dc.description | These three panels, originally from an armoire, buffet or other large piece of furniture, feature low relief depictions of female figures in arched frames. These figures are identified as personifications of the virtues of Fides (Faith), Patienta (Patience), and Spes (Hope). Of the three, only Fides, one of the theological virtues is shown with her characteristic attributes- the cross and the chalice. | |
