Description

William Cumming was a prominent artist in the Seattle area in the 1930s. He was one of the artists that was working locally as part of the New Deal's Federal Art Project. These artist were the heart of what soon came to be referred to in artistic circles as the Northwest School. ""Two Boys at Night"" is a later piece (1960s), but follows his tendency to do figurative works.
